An immediate and expressive technique is embodied in these drawings that combine thoughtful compositions with dream-like colors. This album comprises a comprehensive collection of drawings created on paper with varied materials and approaches.

A few samples of new paintings have been added. They are small, painted on found pieces of wood, and are beginning to show the very first manmade objects in my paintings. For some reason that small thing seems like a big step.

As an artist I "play the colors" with Kate, Matt, and Ben during their musical performances around the NYC area. All of these drawings are spontaneously created during the musical performance. Pastels seem to work best so far, as they are the easiest to clean up in small bars and stages. For upcoming show dates visit the links page and look for Kate or Matthew Logan.

I bring the smaller pieces with me often to the laundromat or on the train to work on. I enjoy the fact that they are delicate, but survive riding along in my bag. Most of the materials used are found or recycled.
